I was searching the net and found your Norwegian Family Tree when looking up Anders Halvorsen Siljan*. I am directly related and was wondering if we could communicate about our families. Here is my line in the family:

Hope we can connect and share information. I would love to talk with you further, and to find out the mystery between Sillien and Siljan with the last names.
Best regards,
Pamela Stegmaier
Pamela – the Norwegian line is my husband’s – I’m passing your comment on to him.

Lisa, was doing a bit of googling and found some of your posts about the Truby-Stalnaker connection. I may have some info that could clear things up!
I see several of our family names weaved all thoughout your pages. My ancestors are the McVaney’s via my elusive paternal 2x ggm Ardelia, Adeline, Adela, Idela McVaney nee Lantz/Lance and her Reger/Reager and Brake line(s) as well as McWhorter and so many others. As I push on to try to uncover information about her I was absolutely delighted to come across your site. Ironically, I lived in your area between 2013-2016 and drove past and admired your new old house many times. My grandparents were from the now dissolved Wolf Summit area and my childhood summers (we lived out of state) there were some of my most cherished memories. There is so much history that I just didn’t know or appreciate at the time. Such is life, we live and we learn. Thank you for publishing your extensive incredible work, it’s truly a pleasure to have found it/you.
